Covid-19 started in Wuhan, China when three people with pneumonia contracted the acute respiratory illness. What makes Covid-19 one of the most traumatic diseases ever? During the beginning of Covid-19, the number of people who died in China was 4,636 and the total of cases were 98,445.

At Tech Prep, 9th and 10th grade students are preparing for the upcoming PARCC assessment. In class, students prepare for the test by taking practice tests and participating in a mock PARCC testing week.

Tech Prep Scholars work hard to participate in all classes and succeed towards their future. Currently in Tech Prep, students are motivated to achieve honor roll, graduate high school, and have a promising, bright, future ahead of them.

At Friendship Tech Prep Academy, we have extraordinary teachers. I’d like to tell you about one of our teachers who is this school year’s Tech Prep Teacher of the Year, Ms. Brittney Lot who is our 10th grade, geometry teacher. On Thursday, March 5, 2020, FNN Tech Prep reporters and SGA members walked across the campus to Southeast Elementary to celebrate reading and our favorite childhood author Dr. Seuss during the FNN Book Club parties. PreK - 1st grade Southeast Scholars were filled with joy and excitement to have us read to them.

Friendship Tech Prep had a very exciting homecoming with events planned every day that the staff and students loved—a trap and paint, step show, silent party and even a lip-sync battle which was my favorite! Shout out to the 12th graders who put on an amazing show.

On Monday, March 2, 2020, Tech Prep Titans celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday, also known as Dr. Seuss Day with Friendship Southeast Elementary. On this day schools around America participate by reading Dr.Seuss’s best books.
